Archaeological description
A. Pugliese : « Roman basalt weight in the shape of a truncated sphere ; dark colour, not polished. It shows some signs of wear, with scratches and two dents along the round side ; little corrosion on the edge of the lower base. In the centre of the upper base, there are three incised dots, arranged to form a triangle ; they indicate the denomination of three Uncias. The diameter of the sphere is 3.85 cm ; the diameter of the upper base is 2.45 cm and that of the lower base is 2.5 cm. »
