Archaeological description
A. Pugliese : « Roman basalt weight in the shape of a truncated sphere ; black colour with grey spots, well-polished and in very good conditions, except for minor scratches along the edge of both bases. In the centre of the upper base 13 dots are incised to form the Roman numeral “X”, for 10 Libras. The diameter of the sphere is 13.35 cm ; the diameter of the upper base is 7.7 cm and that of the lower base is 8 cm. »
