Archaeological description
A. Pugliese : « Roman basalt weight in the shape of a truncated sphere ; dark colour, not polished. It shows some signs of wear, with a few scratches along the edge of both bases ; some corrosion creates a pink shadow on the lower base. The side is not perfectly round. In the centre of lower base, there are two incised dots ; they indicate the denomination of two Uncias. The diameter of the sphere is 3.38 cm ; the diameter of the upper base is 2.15 cm and that of the lower base is 2.25 cm. »
