Archaeological description
CPAI II : Square, deeply engraved on the top with a hand holding scales, a bearded bust on the right and an inscription above: ΙΛΟΠΑꓛΗΙ? The hand may represent the manus Dei which signify that scales (i.e. trade) were under the protect of God; but this view is speculative. The bottom is blank but lots of incisions. Corroded. Its mass correponds to a two-uncia (twelve-nomismata).
