Archaeological description
CPAI II : Square in form with rounded corners. On the face, a lion's protome to right; at the upper corner, Λ and at the upper left corner, Υ but only a small part is seen, the lower corners are broken away where there might be a sigma and a iota, i.e. Λ-Υ-Σ-Ι(μαχέων) and perhaps the initial letter for the unit is off weight if there is; surface much worn; bottom is blank. Its mass corresponds to a tetarton.
Tekin 2018: Square lead weight. On the obverse there is a lion protome jumping right, in relief. On the corners, from top left, Λ[-Υ-Σ-Ι]. Too worn, the type is obscure but Λ on the top left corner is clear. The reverse is blank.
