Archaeological description
CPAI II : Square in form with concave edges; an iron nailed on reverse whose tip is seen on obverse; worn. On obverse is a lion to right (head looking back ?) and Λ-Υ-Σ-Ι on the corners which stands for Λυσιμαχέων; all in relief. Reverse is blank but an iron hobnail has been added to the original weight to raise the mass. Its mass corresponds to a mna.
Tekin 2018: Square lead weight with rounded corners and concave edges. Too worn. On the obverse there is a lion jumping right and looking back (?), in relief. On each corner, from top left, Λ-Υ-Σ-Ι. Below the belly of the lion is an Μ which stands for mna. The reverse is blank. To adjust the mass, an iron boss was inserted on the reverse of which the other end is visible on the obverse.
