Archaeological description
Auction Concordia 2023c: PB Eastern Mediterranean/Aegean. Byzantine one nomisma weight (AD 6th–7th centuries) Discoid in form with plain profile; raised rim and centring point on the top; engraved and punched on the top with the denominational mark N; in each angle, rosette of punched dots; originally not inlaid. The bottom is blank. Patinated. Cf. CPAI Turkey 3/2, 603. Weight: 4.40 g. Diameter: 17.71 mm.
