Archaeological description
Autoptic examination:
Lead weight; square shape. Signs of wear and corrosion: chippings and small strokes, including in the tortoise's shell; small lumps on the sides and the right side is a bit hollowed. On the reverse and on the upper side, some large grooves. Rounded, slightly raised and folded corners; more or less straight edges (irregular: the upper edge is longer than the lower). On the obverse, light frame and depiction of an half-tortoise to the right in light relief.
British Museum: Lead weight with representation of half of a tortoise (or half of a shield).
