Archaeological description
CPAI II : Square in form with rounded corners folding down over letters. On the face, half amphora; below, M, to right, ΟΝ ? are visible, other letters to left and above not visible (legend, demosion ?); all in relief. These obscure letters may stand for hemitriton and its mass corresponds to a hemitriton (one-sixth stater, stater of 890.16 g). Bottom is blank but slightly hollowed. Worn. This weight may belong to the Aegean area (Athens ?).
