Archaeological description
Auction Roma 2022: Byzantine Æ 1 Nomisma Weight. 4th-5th centuries AD. Diademed and draped facing busts (Honorius and Theodosius II?); cross above / Moneta standing to left, holding scales; to upper left, dove(?) to right, palm branch to right. For similar type of exagia solidi, cf. Bendall 7-12; CPAI -; Kürkman -; for similar, cf. Roma 73, 1514. 4.27g, 15mm, 7h. Condition as seen. A very beautiful unusual weight with both sides incuse.
