Archaeological description
CPAI II : Square in form; rounded corners and raised edges folding down over letters. On the face, in relief, amphora; at corners Δ-Ε-Μ-Ο(σιον) which refers that it is a public weight, retrograde from upper right corner. Bottom is blank. Worn. Its mass corresponds to one-third stater, i.e. tritemorion (stater of 881.76 g).
