Autoptic examination;
Lead weight; rectangular shape. Signs of wear and corrosion: chippings and grooves. More or less rounded corners and straight edges (irregular); thin sides. The upper right corner is broken; on the reverse, the upper edge is flattened (especially the upper left corner). On the obverse, depiction of an half-tortoise in relief. In the corners, letters in relief: ΔΕΜΟ. On the reverse, engraved letters in two rows: ΗΜΙΤ | ΕΤΑΡ.
Amandry 1993:
Huitième de mine. Poids rectangulaire en plomb. 107,6 g ; L. 0.0385 ; l. 0,040. Inv. Bar. 1889-6. Sur l’une des faces, une demi-tortue. Autour, légende ΔΗΜΟ (δημόσιον). Au dos, en lettres incisées, sur deux lignes ΗΜΙΤ/ΕΤΑΡ.
