Archaeological description
Autoptic examination;
Lead weight; rectangular shape. Signs of wear and corrosion: chippings and little holes; on the obverse, groove on the right side below the tortoise's leg. Rounded and raised corners; straight edges; irregular and bumpy sides. On the obverse, light frame and depiction of an half-tortoise in relief with a ring around his shell. In the corners, letters in relief: ΔΗΜΟ.

Huitième de mine. Poids carré en plomb. 113,44 g ; L. 0,039. Inv. Bar. 1889-5. Sur l’une des faces, une demi-tortue. Autour, légende ΔΗΜΟ (δημόσιον). Au pourtour, léger rebord.
