Archaeological description
Autoptic examination;
Lead weight; rectangular shape. Small signs of wear and corrosion: little chippings and hollows; cuts, strokes and lumps on the obverse and on the sides. Rounded corners; straight edges. On the obverse, light frame and depiction of a large tortoise in relief with dots on his shell. In the corners, letters in relief hardly legible: Τ̣ (or Γ̣?) Δ Ο̣ Α.

Quart de mine. Poids rectangulaire en plomb. 242,93 g ; L. 0,046 ; l. 0,048. Inv. Bar. 1889-1. Sur l’une des faces, une tortue. Autour, légende ΤΔ Ο̣Α. Au pourtour, un léger rebord.
