Archaeological description
Autoptic examination:
Lead weight; square shape with a rectangular handle (more or less 1.4 x 0.4 cm) and an hanging hole (more or less 0.5 x 0.2 cm). Signs of wear and corrosion: chippings; small strokes on the frame; whitish. On the reverse, hollows, grooves and cuts. The sides are a bit bumpy. Rounded corners and edges; straight sides. On the obverse, double (or triple?) frame and depiction of an eight-branch rosette in relief.

British Museum: "Lead weight; eye for attachment to a steelyard (?); rosette on one side."
