Archaeological description
Autoptic examination:
Lead weight; square shape. Signs of wear and corrosion: chippings; strokes and cuts on and around the amphora. On the reverse, big diagonal groove. Small cuts and strokes on the reverse and the sides. Bevelled corners; straight edges. On the obverse, light frame and depiction of an amphora (Late Panathenaic type) in relief with a high foot. No inscription (or barely legible?).
