Archaeological description
Auction Archaeological Center 2007: Palestine (?), A Roman Period diamond-shaped lead weight, with a missing handle at top, and a small handle at bottom, 287.10 gr., 8.80×10.73 cm., 7.8/3.8 mm. thick. On the reverse a ring is depicted. The Greek inscription reads: ΛΙ A ΑΕΣΑΜΝ / ΕΠΙ[...]ΛΟ/Υ ΑΓΟΡΑΝ / ΟΜ[.]ΟΥ. In fair condition. (A. Spaer coll. no. W-149). Unpublished.
