Archaeological description
Auction Leu 2021: Western Asia Minor or Syria. Uncertain, circa 1st-3rd centuries AD. Weight of 1 Libra (?) (Lead, 53x55 mm, 346.00 g), Apatorianos, magistrate. AΠA/TOYP/IANO/Y. Apparently unpublished. Minor scuff on the obverse, otherwise, very fine. This impressive square weight could either have served as a 1/2 Mina or as a slightly heavy Roman libra.
