Archaeological description
Autoptic examination:
Lead weight; square shape. Signs of wear and corrosion: chippings and small strokes; stroke and hollow on the middle of the crescent; the right part of the crescent is a bit flattened. On the reverse, lump in the center. The sides are a bit bumpy; stroke (hole) in the lower left corner. Slightly rounded corners; irregular edges (the upper side is convex and the left and right are set at a slant). On the obverse, light frame and depiction of a crescent in relief. Below the crescent, retrograde inscription in relief: ΔΕΜΟ.
British Museum: "Lead weight; crescent with monogram."
