Archaeological description
Autoptic examination:
Lead weight; square shape. Signs of wear and corrosion: many vertical and horizontal cuts, chippings, grooves and littles holes on the reverse; some cuts and hollows on the obverse; silver. Rounded corners (two upper corners folded); straight edges. On the obverse, light frame and depiction of a large half-tortoise in relief. In the corners, letters erased in relief: ΔΗΜΟ (?) barely legible. Two stamps: one circular on the right of the tortoise's head with a rosette in relief; another one square on the tortoise's body with two owls (?) barely legible. The reverse is plain. Standard 105.
