Archaeological description
Auction CNG 2010: Lead One Pound Weight. Hellenistic, 2nd-1st centuries BC. Front face decorated with a series of large globules, that in the center surrounded by two concentric circles, the outer with a tang, creating a design resembling a phiale. Above, ΛEITPAN. Back face decorated with a floral pattern of six petals, three large globules above and below. Beveled sides featuring a zig-zag pattern. Dimensions: 8.7cm x 5.7cm.
