Archaeological description
Auction CNG 2009: Lead hemimina. Greek, 2nd-1st centuries BC. Facing male head, with lines resembling flowing hair framing the entirety of the head, over floral pattern of four petals; symbol or letter above, I-Γ flanking, HMIMИAIИ below; all within linear circular frame / Floral pattern of six petals within linear frame of two concentric circles. Weight: 283.30 g. Good VF condition, brown and gray patina with some scattered spots of red, damage to nose of figure. A highly interesting piece.
