Archaeological description
Autoptic examination:
Lead weight; square shape. Signs of wear and corrosion: chippings and hollows on the reverse. Rounded corners; straight edges but irregular square: sides are set at a slight slant; upper corners and left edge slightly folded; lower right corner elongated. On the obverse, signs in relief: Δ𐅃𐅂 (= 16 Drachmas). 𐅃𐅂 are smaller and placed above the delta. In the delta, a circular stamp illegible (with crescent and olive branchs ?); another circular stamp illegible (with a head facing downwards with messy hair) on the right side of the delta. The reverse is plain. Standard 92.
