Archaeological description
AM: Weight, Roman. Inscribed in Greek ‘APTE’. Weight: 176.8 g. Length: 4.5 cm, width: 4.5 cm, thickness: 0.8 cm.
Autoptic examination: Lead weight, square shape. Signs of wear and corrosion: chippings; on the reverse, stroke on the lower right corner and small bump on the upper right corner. On the obverse, very thin frame and legend in relief: AP TE. The reverse is blank.
