Archaeological description
AM: Weight, Roman Period (Gaul) (50 BC - 486 AD). Height: 2.3 cm, diameter: 3.5 cm.
Autoptic examination: Bronze weight, truncated sphere shape, quite smooth surface. Signs of wear and corrosion: small bumps and greyish. On one face, slightly incised circle. On the other one, modern tag: Roman Weight, Amiens 1877 IV.02. On the side, modern legend written in ink: Amiens 1877.
