Archaeological description
Autoptic examination:
Lead weight; square shape. Signs of wear and corrosion: chippings; lumps and hollows; curved cut under the tortoise. Horizontal grooves and cuts on the reverse and small strokes and vertical grooves on the sides. The sides are bumpy. Rounded corners; straight edges but irregular square (the right side is smaller). On the obverse, depiction of an half-tortoise in relief. On the corners, retrograde inscription in relief: ΔΗΜΟ.
