Archaeological description
Tekin 2024: Ephesus. Mna. Pb 479 g, 53x54x18 mm. Inv. no. 1.7.94 g. Find place: Bayındır. Acquired in 1994. Lead weight, square in form with beveled edges. On the obverse, unit mark M which refers to Mνᾶ - Mna; below, bee; all in relief. The reverse is blank. It is a production of Ephesus since the bee is the parasemon of this city. It dates to the Hellenistic period.
