Archaeological description
Auction Leu 2019: Athens. Circa 4th century BC. Weight of 1/16 Mna (?) (Lead, 25 mm, 27.91 g). Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with three olive leaves and palmette. Rev. Blank except for large central hole. Istanbul -. Pera -. Silifke -. Extremely rare. Earthen deposits, otherwise, very fine. The weight of this interesting piece corresponds to a one-sixteenth of a Mna of 446.56 g.
