Archaeological description
Auction Archaeological Center 2018: A Helenistic [sic] lead weight. The city of Perinthos, ca. 3rd-2nd century BCE. Depicting a Greek inscriptions on both sides which reads: ΠΕPINΘIWN / HEMI ΛEITPON Δ I KEION and a Palm branch. “Perinthos the city; Half of a Litra”. With nice gray patina. Pierced in a corner and with a small corrosion hole but in good condition. 7.2×7.6x0.9 cm. 200 gr. Ex S.M. collection, Herzliya Pituah.
