Auction TimeLine 2020: Greek Inscribed Trade Weight. 6th–5th century BC. A large square lead trade weight with ΑΠΟλ / λΟ[ ]Ρ / ΔΟΥ inscription in three lines; small perforation near top edge. 734 grams, 80mm (3"). Fair condition. Provenance: Property of a Dutch gentleman; formerly in an old collection formed in the 1970s.
