Archaeological description
Auction Hirsch 1909: Quadratische Bleistücke. Oben im Relief Schildkröte, in den Ecken ΔHΜΟ. Pernice p. 122. 133. Mm. 49/48. gr. 198,85. 1/4 Mine. Sehr schön u. selten.

Auction Hoffmann 1888: Quart de mine. Même forme [Plaque carrée en plomb]. Tortue. ΔHΜΟ sur deux lignes. - Poids, 198 gr.

Autoptic examination: Lead weight; square shape. Signs of wear and corrosion: chippings; little strokes on the edges and sides, big one on the right back leg of the tortoise; light cut on the letter M; long light grey bump and light hollows on the reverse. Rounded corners and edges; the reverse is quite flat. On the obverse, frame and depiction of a tortoise in relief. There are dots on the shell and a little one for the head; the front legs are elongated and straight. On both sides of the tortoise, letters in relief: Δ Η Μ Ο. Height without relief: 0.9 cm.
