Archaeological description
Autoptic examination:
Bronze weight; square shape. Signs of wear and corrosion: strokes and lumps; on the obverse, large groove on the left and cuts on the frame. Bevelled corners and irregular edges. On both sides, large and high frame. On the obverse, depiction of a profile and helmeted head of Athena to the left. In the corners inside the frame, letters in relief: ΟΓΔΟ; uncertain letters in relief on the frame (Δ?). The sides are bumpy and have strokes and deep lines cut into them (and uncertain letters in relief?). The reverse is hollow, with two uncertain letters in relief and a square countermark below; uncertain letters in relief on the frame.

British Museum: Square bronze weight with the head of Athena and a Greek inscription. Countermark. The sides have deep lines cut into them; the back is hollow, with uncertain letters in relief.
