Archaeological description
Autoptic examination:
Lead weight; square shape. Signs of wear and corrosion: some chippings and grooves (one big on the left and upper sides of the amphora). Rounded and folded corners; straight edges. On the obverse, frame and depiction of an half-amphora (Panathenaic type II) in relief. The right bottom of the amphora is flattened. Around the amphora, letters in relief: ΗΜ (above) ΙΤΡ (on the right side) ΙΤΟΝ (below). The reverse is plain. Standard 112.
