Archaeological description
Autoptic examination: Lead weight; square shape. Some chippings and hollows on the reverse. Rounded corners, upper right corner folded and flattened; straight edges. On the obverse, depiction of a dolphin diagonally (to upper left corner) in relief; its body is lightly arched and its forked tail is bent upwards. On both sides of the dolphin, letters in relief: ΔΕ (on the right side) ΜΟ (on the left side). On the dolphin, clost to its head, circular stamp with an helmeted head of Athena (turned to right). The reverse is plain. Solonian mna. Very similar to MN 142762.
