Archaeological description
Campagnolo and Weber 2015: Poids de 1 solidus. Lieu de fabrication indéterminé, IVe-VIe siècle (?). Laiton. Poids 3,895 g ; hauteur 14,5 mm ; largeur 15,0 mm ; épaisseur 2,5 mm. Incrustation parfaitement conservée. Inv. CdN 32542 bis, don de Paul Balog, 1970. Avers : deux bustes impériaux de face, drapés, cuirassés et diadémés. Sans indication de valeur. Technique : gravé et incrusté d’argent. Au revers, traces de coups de lime.
