Archaeological description
Autoptic examination:
Lead weight; thick square shape. Signs of wear and corrosion, especially on the reverse and on sides: cuts and chippings. Rounded corners; slightly concave edges. On the obverse, depiction of an astragalus in relief. Around, letters in relief: ΣΤΑΤΗΡ. Above the astragalus, oval stamp (countermark) with an amphora (or a sea turtle?). The reverse is plain.
