Archaeological description
Autoptic examination:
Lead weight; thick square shape. Signs of wear and corrosion, especially on the reverse: chippings. Straight corners; slightly concave edges. On the obverse, depiction in relief: dolphin horizontally to right pierced diagonally by a trident. On the bottom right, letters in relief: ΜΝΑ. Above the dolphin, circular stamp (countermark) with a 6-petals flower surrounding by a garland of little dots and dots between the petals (similar to the depictions on the weights from Delos?). The reverse is plain.
