BnF: Poids de forme quadrangulaire. Bélière quadrangulaire sommet arrondi. Plomb. L. 5,6 cm ; l. 6,1 cm ; ép. 0,7 cm; Poids 159 gr. M E Λ I / TWNEϹ. Un symbole en contremarque ; au pourtour, une bordure en relief. Tranche: En biseau.
Babelon & Blanchet 1895: Poids de forme quadrangulaire. L’un des côtés est muni d’un appendice en guise de bélière carrée, sans trou. Une des faces porte des inscriptions sur deux lignes: ΜΕΛΙ ΤΝΕϹ et une contremarque °-°. Le revers est lisse. Plomb. Poids, 159 gr. Long. des côtés, 56 mill. sur 61. Acquis en 1891.
Auction Hoffmann 1891: Poids en plomb, en forme de pinakion avec son anse, pesant 159,5 gr. Légende: ΜΕΛΙΤΩΝΕC.
