Archaeological description
BnF: Identique à Bronze 2233 (sans la contremarque). Plomb. L: 4,6 cm; l: 4,7 cm; ép. 1,9 cm. HM/METPO.
Autoptic examination: Lead weight, square shape. Signs of wear and corrosion: chippings; greyish; stroke on the lower right on the frame and on the right below the amphora; very ligh one on the lower right on the amphora's body; flaking traces on the sides; small strokes on the upper and lower sides. Rounded corners; straight edges and sides; the reverse is slightly hollowed; the edges are very slighlty concave. On the obverse, frame and depiction of an amphora in relief. The amphora's neck and foot are long and thin. The handles extend to the rim. On the right and left edges, letters in relief: HMI METPO. On the reverse, traces of tag and glue on the lower left. (Height without relief: 1.6 cm).
