Archaeological description
BnF: Poids attique dit de demi-tortue. Plomb. L. 3,3 cm ; l. 3,7 cm ; ép. 1,2 cm; Poids: 115 gr. TA. Protomé de tortue.
Autoptic examination: Lead weight, square shape. Signs of wear and corrosion: chippings; small strokes on the sides and the reverse, bigger ones with hollows on the lower right on the reverse. Slightly folded corners (especially on the right), rounded corners and edges; straight sides. On the obverse, depiction of a half-tortoise in relief. The front legs of the tortoise are elongated and folded alongside the tortoise's body; its head is visible but no more the dots on its shell (only a little bit on the edges). Around the tortoise, letters in relief: [HM]IṬ ẸTAP̣. (Height without relief: 0.8 cm).
