Archaeological description
Autoptic examination:
Byzantine weight in bronze; square shape with two grooves all around the edge. It shows signs of corrosion with dark green patina and red spots, and there are large incrustations on the top half of the recto. The recto bears the legend Γ.Β, indicating the denomination of two ounces. The verso is plain.
