Archaeological description
Autoptic examination:
Christian Byzantine weight in bronze; square shape with two grooves all around the edge. It shows signs of corrosion and incrustations, particularly on the verso and along the four sides. On the recto, and within a decorated circle, are the letters Γ᛫Γ, indicating the denomination of three ounces. The verso is plain.
