Archaeological description
BnF: Tétrobole attique carrée. Plomb. L. 1 cm ; épaisseur : 0,4 cm : Poids: 2,64 gr. Une amphore.
Babelon & Blanchet 1895: Poids quadrangulaire. Tétrobole attique. Une des faces est décorée d’une amphore. Sans légende. Plomb. Poids, 2 gr. 64. Long. Des côtés, 10 mill. Donné par M. Paul Coutant, en 1892.
Autoptic examination: Lead (?) weight, square shape. Signs of wear and corrosion: chippings; small stroke on the upper right corner on the reverse; little brown hollows on the left side. Slightly rounded corners; straight edges and sides. On the obverse, depiction of an amphora in relief. Traces of a modern tag on the reverse. (Height without relief: 0.35 cm).
