Archaeological description
Autoptic examination:
Christian Byzantine weight in bronze; square shape. It is in very good conditions. The recto is decorated with a chain wreath creating an arch supported by two columns; under the arch, and between the columns, are a sun and the letters Ν and Θ, which indicate the denomination of the weight, that is, 9 nomismata. The verso bears the Roman numeral VIIII, also referring to the denomination.
