Archaeological description
Autoptic examination:
Roman lead counterweight in the shape of amphora. The object is heavily worn and corroded and presents white patina and deep cuts over the whole surface. The amphora has a thin neck, to which lateral handles are attached, and an elongated belly; it stands on a large, disc-shaped base. The top had a ring for suspension, which now appears pressed and deformed. The diameter measures: 2.65 cm (belly), and 1.9 cm (bottom disk); the neck is 2 cm large and 1.1 cm wide.
