Archaeological description
Autoptic examination:
Roman lead weight in the shape of hemisphere; it probably had a ring for suspension which is now lost, as is inferable from the signs of damaged on the top of the object. The piece is coated with a thin layer of bronze, except for the base. It presents evident signs of wear and corrosion, with green patina and small cracks. The lead base is very coarse and concave due to corrosion. The diameter of the base measures 4.1 cm.
