Archaeological description
Autoptic examination:
Roman metal counterweight in the shape of a cone, with a thin bronze bar which runs through it along its height; the top of the bar has a ring for suspension. The object is made of lead and was coated with a thin layer of bronze, which is almost entirely lost due to wear and corrosion. The lead body is also heavily worn and corroded, particularly on the top. The maximum diameter measures 3.2 cm; the height is 3.1 cm, or 6.25 cm including the bronze bar.
