Archaeological description
Autoptic examination:
Roman bronze counterweight in the shape of head of a man, with flat back. The face is elongated, with large forehead, pronounced nose and pointed chin. At the top, there is a ring with hook for suspension. The object is filled with lead which has been partially removed, as is visible from the back of the head. The object measures 3.6 cm (ear to ear) and 2.1 cm (along the jaw line). The maximum width (back to nose) is 3.1 cm.
