Archaeological description
Autoptic examination:
Roman basalt weight in the shape of a truncated spheroid, with two large non-through holes on the lower base. The stone is black and well-polished, and it shows little sign of wear, with only some abrasions on the lower base, around the holes; the edge of the upper base is well defined.
