Archaeological description
Autoptic examination:
Roman bronze weight in the shape of a truncated sphere. It shows little sign of wear and corrosion. Both bases present a dot in the centre; around it, two concentric lines are incised (these appear to be deeper and better defined on one base). The object is not symmetrical, so that its height measures 0.8 cm from one side and 0.6 cm from the opposite side. The diameter of the sphere is 1.6 cm; the diameter of both bases measures 1.3 cm.
